Rules of Conduct:

These forums are for discussing all things aquaria and events related to the Iowa Aquaria Association. These guidelines are posted only to bring clarification on some issues where there have been questions in the past. We desire to provide an environment that is conducive to discussions about aquaria and related topics.

1. Show respect at all times.

2. Personal attacks/flaming are prohibited

3. Trolling/Baiting is prohibited. Trolling/Baiting is when someone is clearly, blatantly posting
in a manner for the purpose of angering and/or insulting the other participants of the
forum. Trolling does not encourage further discussion and only encourages personal attacks/flaming.

4. Private messages received on this forum are considered private and are not to be posted
publicly without the senders express permission.

5. Bans and warnings are not to be discussed on the forums. Any questions or comments are
to be sent via PM or email.

6. Posting of pornography, racist or otherwise discriminating remarks, threats to cause
physical or mental harm as well as offensive and/or vulgar language or links to pages that contain any of this type of material. Any of these may result in a ban from the forum.

7. Spamming is prohibited.

8. Speaking poorly / falsely of a business without said business having an opportunity to respond is prohibited.

9. Not responding to or ignoring moderator warnings can lead to suspension or ban.

10. Posts which attempt to impersonate or fraudulently represent another user, person, or party.

11. Use of profanity in any post is prohibited and subject to editing by Admin/Mods.
